MaccsBox is an electronic data exchange system that fully automates the processes of reporting and invoicing Box Office Returns between distributors and exhibitors.
VPF Hub

VPF Hub is an independent clearinghouse for VPF settlement that closes VPF contracts on behalf of participating exhibitors in order to allow them to find co-financing for the installation of digital screens. Next to the calculation of the VPF’s, VPF Hub also takes care of the invoicing of the VPF’s and the financial settlement between distributors and exhibitors.

DCinemaHub was initiated by MACCS International to create a universal platform enabling the fully automated ordering and delivery of digital content from distributors to exhibitors..

Technical Requirements

MaccsBox

MaccsBox is an electronic data exchange system that fully automates the processes of reporting and invoicing Box Office Returns between distributors and exhibitors.

First of all MaccsBox streamlines the process of data collection from the exhibitors by ingesting automated feeds with Flash Grosses, Box Office Returns and Holdovers directly from the Ticketing System and the Theater Management System. An intelligent matching system analyzes and matches all incoming data to the original bookings and redistributes a feed to the distributors with only the figures and reports that they are entitled to. Furthermore the matching system checks for inconsistencies between the figures from the exhibitor and the booking info from the distributor. If any discrepancy is found, MaccsBox automatically reports these back to the parties involved or can automatically create an e-booking to correct the problem.

VPF Hub

Since VPF Hub is an open concept to which any distributor and any exhibitor can sign up, the benefits for both parties are obvious. Through VPF Hub an exhibitor is entitled to the VPF’s from all the distributors that are connected to VPF Hub without the need to negotiate a separate contract with each of these distributors. Furthermore it is important that VPF Hub takes care of the invoicing and the financial settlement towards the distributor meaning that it provides a hassle free service both from an administrative as well as from a technical perspective.

DCinemaHub

DCinemaHub was initiated by MACCS International to create a universal platform enabling the fully automated ordering and delivery of digital content from distributors to exhibitors. DCHub integrates and manages all processes needed to complete the logistic cycle from a booking to the delivery of the files and the keys, thus saving the distributor time in coordinating these processes and providing ease of mind because all processes are executed, monitored and reported back through a single point of contact. Furthermore DCHub has developed a unique new technology to actively retrieve hardware info at the end of the exhibitor in order to build and maintain a Trusted Device List that is always up to date.
