Schematic overview

How does it work?
- The distributor acquires a title
- The distributor publishes the title information in the online catalogue
- The exhibitor logs in to the online catalogue to view all listed titles
-
- In case of a back catalogued title, the exhibitor can make an online booking with automatic terms
- In case the title has no automatic terms, the exhibitor must make an offline booking and negotiate the terms
- The distributor either approves the online booking or enters the offline booking manually in the Theatrical Distribution System (TDS)
-
- Upon approval, the Theatrical Distribution System sends an instruction to create a DCP is passed on to DCHub
- The DCP instruction is passed on if a third party is used to create and deliver the DCP
- The distributor provides a Master DCP which is stored in the DCP library for future reference
- The DCP is delivered directly by DCHub if the exhibitor can receive files through satellite or broadband
- The Push ‘n Pull agent confirms that the DCP file was received by the exhibitor
-
- The distributor sends an instruction to DCHub to create a KDM
- The KDM instruction is passed on if a third party is used to generate and deliver the KDM
- The Push ‘n Pull agent sends a hardware update to the Trusted Device List
- Based on the updated hardware info, a KDM is generated on sent to the exhibitor
- The Push ‘n Pull agent confirms the proper receipt of the KDM
