iMACCS is a generic online ordering platform for theatrical and non-theatrical distribution. iMACCS offers the quick set-up of an online catalogue where cinemas and ‘out of home’ venues such as schools, hotels, pubs, airlines et cetera, can purchase licenses for Single Title or Public Viewing screenings.
iMACCS can easily be customized to the distributor’s look and feel to be integrated in any existing website. Furthermore iMACCS is fully integrated in MACCS meaning that all processes can be handled automatically from MACCS including the automatic upload of title info to the online catalogue, account creation and approval, invoicing, online cash collection through credit card payments and reporting.
How does it work?
- The distributor acquires a Title
- The title info, pricing scheme and available license types are uploaded from MACCS to the Online catalogue
- An Exhibitor requests to open an account
- The account is approved by the Distributor
- After approval, the Exhibitor can login to the Online catalogue
- The Exhibitor books a Title stating his license and content preference
- A real time availability check for license and content type is performed on the MACCS database
- When available, the booking is electronically invoiced according to the pricing scheme
- The electronic invoice is paid for in real time by online credit card payment
- The credit card payment is transferred to the Distributor
- After successful closure of the credit card payment, the booking and content preference are registered in MACCS
- The Distributor can view extensive separate reports in MACCS on the results of iMACCS as a whole, on title level, on exhibitor level and on booking level
- The delivery instructions are handed over to Content creation & delivery
- The content is delivered to the Exhibitor
- The exhibitor can view back his booking history
