Web server
Usually MaccsBox is implemented on hardware at a data center:
| • For a full territory, a single server is sufficient | |
| • Oracle Standard Edition v11, processor license | |
| • ISS | |
| • Remote acces facility |
Browser version
In order to use MaccsBox for reporting and manual data entry you only need a web browser:
| • Mozilla FireFox 1.5 and later versions | |
| • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and later versions | |
| • Apple Safari | |
| • Other browsers may work but have not been tested |
Most PDA's work properly as well.
For electonic data exchange with MaccsBox, FTP is widely used.
