Deployment

Depending on the size of the film distributor, deployment can be performed by the MACCS team or by a third party or a combination. Usually it depends on the size of the company.

Smaller distributor

The preparation and implementation of MACCS is performed by the MACCS International team, consisting of

  • Project plan, the making of
  • Preparation: distributor data, addresses, employees, bank details, VAT, et cetera. But also logo's, invoice and document layouts
  • Installation of MACCS (this can be done both remotely and on site)
  • Training: Sales - Booking, Finance, Management, System
  • In some cases development is needed for instance for interfacing with a general ledger when this interface is not available yet.
  • Conversion: sometimes conversion of historical data is needed and can be carried out by the MACCS team

A standard implementation takes about one week.

Large distributor

In such case, the deployment of MACCS is performed by a third party. When needed, the MACCS International team will provide limited deployment assistance. Our software developers will focus on enhancing and supporting MACCS.

Maintenance

After deployment, the MACCS International bv team offers a full service support program, including:

  • Error correction
  • Unlimited help desk
  • Online help and Frequently Asked Questions
  • Upgrades

Note that 40 % of the maintenance revenues is reinvested in MACCS and dedicated to upgrades, thus lowering your TCO

It is also important to understand that MACCS is a single code system. This means that wherever MACCS is used, the basic code is the same. All developments within MACCS is leveraged to all other clients, in all territories. The internal parameter set in MACCS is the reference for providing the appropriate functionality .
